FamilySafe Florida was created from the heart — founded by Donald Angolano, a veteran EMT, educator, and single father who believes safety starts at home. After spending over a decade responding to emergencies and training future healthcare professionals, Donald saw a critical gap: families often lacked the tools, skills, and confidence to respond when it mattered most. FamilySafe was born to fix that.
What began as a vision to bring high-quality training out of the classroom and into the living room has grown into a mission that touches every corner of the community. Donald’s experience in both emergency care and education has shaped every detail — from the layout of course materials to how we approach family-centered instruction. This isn’t just about checking a box. It’s about preparing real people for real moments.
Meet the Founder – Donald Angolano
Donald has worked across emergency services, town government, and education. He’s served as an Advanced EMT, helped train countless EMS and CNA students, and led a CNA program in Gainesville. But his proudest role is being a dad. Raising his two children, Dominic and Aubrey, has shaped everything about FamilySafe Florida — from how classes are taught to who they’re designed for.
FamilySafe isn’t just a training company — it’s a movement built around empathy, accessibility, and action. Donald believes anyone can save a life with the right tools and guidance, and his mission is to make sure you have both — whether you're a caregiver, parent, teen, or retiree.
